We are having another cold winter day in Chicago. It's Elvis' birthday and it's a gloomy ~ snow flurry ~ Friday. The temperature is 25 degrees at 3pm. So lets preheat our ovens and bake some cookies!
Here's an easy roll out cookie: First preheat your oven to 300 degrees. Take out your butter to soften it.
In a big mixing bowl take your fork and mash your 1 cup of butter with a few drops of red food coloring then add 1 cup of powder sugar . Then add 2 cups of flour, blend well. Roll on a clean floured flat surface. Cut out with cookie cutters. Bake 25 minutes. Keep cookies on baking sheet to cool. Frost if desired~
