Choc O Late Lovelies Drop Cookies

What to do on a snowy cold day in Chicago? Bake cookies!! It helps with the boredom and heats up the kitchen on a chilly day~ This yummy recipe is what I call :
Choc O Late Lovelies Drop Cookies
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees / Take out the butter about 1/2 hour before you start mixing.
You will want to put foil on the baking sheets.
First sift together in a bowl:
2 cups flour
a little pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Set this aside for later.
Get a good sized saucepan and melt 1 stick butter on a low flame. Not too high. Add two ounces of unsweetened chocolate keep on until the chocolate is melted. Remove from the heat and fold in 1 cup brown sugar pushed down in the measuring cup. You always want brown sugar packed down well. Take your spatula and mix it well from the bottom. Add 1 egg, then 1 teaspoon vanilla to this mixture. Again, mix it well. Slowly add 1/2 cup of milk. Now gradually mix in the dry swifted ingredients. Don't rush it and throw all the dry ingredients in at once. Slowly add it all together. Once mixed quickly stir it till it's smooth.
Scoop up a tablespoon's worth and drop in on the foil lined baking sheet. Drop them several inches away from the others. They need room to bake. Bake at 375 for 12 to 15 minutes. If you can see them in a lighted oven, so they don't bake too long. They will spring back firmly, not too wet. Transfer to a cooling rack.
