Eating Around Town

Do you remember the "Ed Sulivan" Show on Sunday nights? I do but if you have not... There was a mouse named: "Topo Gigio" he spoke with Ed and  joked around. Well, in Chicago there is a good Italian Ristorante on Wells Street called: "Topo Gigio". There is a cool vintage collection of this lovable Mouse on display above the bar. The buss Boys wear tee shirts with Topo on front and back of their shirts. My Hubby and I go here and enjoy ourselves very much! The Calamari is to die for. We've always tried their specials of the day and was never dissappointed. They have tasty Italian dishes, Great fish dishes and the steak my Hubby had was Huge! The service is good and so is the coffee. We REALLY like the Tiramisu.  We both agree this is the BEST we have ever had! There is metered street parking and vallet parking next door. You can eat in their huge dinning room. Or on a warm day or evening you can eat out in front. We've always ate inside because whenever we've eaten there is was a bit chilly outside.
